Meet Our Leaders
David Cohn
Founder, Head of Evangelization
David is a senior at Mount St. Joseph High School in Baltimore, Maryland. In his free time, he loves to write songs, play video games and sports, and hang out with friends. He is a music enthusiast and knows how to play 6 (and a half!) instruments. He is a self-taught musician. David wanted to start Hic Sum because he was looking for a challenge in his journey of faith. He is excited to share his encounter with Christ with people his age, who also have the same spiritual dreams and experiences. He has been an active member of his home parish, St. John the Evangelist in Severna Park, from a very young age, serving as a sacristan, and helping out with middle school Religious Education as well as confirmation classes. David looks forward to Hic Sum and all of the wonderful encounters each teen is going to have through Christ.
McKenna Wilson

McKenna Wilson is a senior at Mount de Sales Academy. She loves to sing and participate in music theater! Especially singing praise and worship music during Hic Sum, at mass, or during adoration. She plans to study theology in college, hopefully at Franciscan University, in Ohio. This year is McKenna’s second year leading Hic Sum! She absolutely loves the community here at youth group. She started attending Hic Sum in the Fall of 2021, during her freshman year and the rest is history! After a powerful encounter with Jesus, at Damascus Summer Camp, in 2022 she fell head over heels in love with the Lord and learned to trust Him. Now after leading Hic Sum for the past year, With eyes fixed on heaven, McKenna is ready to help Hic Sum grow and flourish!
